“Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

-Margaret Mead

Our Organization

archi-treasures is a non-profit, arts-based community development organization that combats urban isolation by involving people in projects that transform public space and increase civic engagement.

Creative professionals and community members partner to improve neighborhoods throughout Chicago. archi-treasures’ results are tangible – community parks, murals, and outdoor movie screenings – and intangible – people who feel proud of what they’ve made and where they live.

We value our relationships with community leaders and organizations, volunteers, corporate partners, and residents, for it is through our work together that we truly make a difference. Learn more about how you can get involved.
